Liquid gold

I love the way this image pulls you into anywhere you hang this .This long exposure is very unique in my eyes as it produced liquid gold. Eureka !

Timeless surfer

This was taken at La Jolla Shores .Matt Perault is part of the Windansea Surf Club and he is the next generation of surfers that help out the community.

The Bone yard .

This Scripps Pier sunset was taken during the winter months. These rocks are never visible as they are usually covered with sand. High surf washed the sand away and I knew i had something special. This is a great gift for a Chiropractor or anyone else.

The green Room

This is what the sea can give us . An incredible view or vision. The sea is the fountain of youth for many. It's a reenergizer , healing, and spirit uplifting place for me. Aloha !

This reflective crater immediately attracted my eye as most photographers take pictures of the tide pools in front.

Balanced Faces

This was taken with a minus 1.8 tide. The water level is usually 1/3 up to the top. As you look at this you will see a variety of faces carved out by the ocean.

Mossy Rock

During the winter these rocks arise from the sand that gets taken away during the King Tides. These beautiful seagulls add some great contrast to this image.

Taken 1.31.18 as the red moon eclipse down by the USS Midway. Sunrise was beautiful.

The Iconic Shed was a vision of Bird Huffman. This is an old Quonset hut that he filled with many historical surf boards , surfing history and filled with Aloha !

Lifeguard box Aloha

All things ocean .This lifeguard box is perched above La Jolla's Boomer Beach, which is known for having strong waves and a strong riptide. It's for in the event that lifeguards need additional help. Passers-by used to be able to call from it, but it's now locked. I don't know if it's still in use really (do you?). However, on the front of the box is the inscription David C. Freeman, a championship bodysurfer, who grew up in La Jolla and died tragically in 1994. I read he died in the ocean of an unknown heart defect and that locals thought this lifeguard box -- which at the time was rusty and in need of a refresh -- would be the perfect way to commemorate him and things he loved.

Shredding

Dr Seuss tree

A beautiful tree that used to be at La Jolla cove until it had a infestation of beetles that took this beauty down.
